Stemming from renowned French bank Credit Agricole’s Paris-based incubator La Fabrique by CA, neo-bank Blank started identifying key gaps in traditional banking offers for professionals, with a targeted focus on entrepreneurs and the self-employed.
Their vision and ambition led them to craft a highly innovative Fintech offer with one clear purpose: meeting the ever more specific administrative and financial needs of independent professionals – from craftsmen to freelancers. Their comprehensive offer aims at providing a wide range of solutions to facilitate quoting, invoicing, insuring, legal and business management and also, banking.
Bankable in Action
With a wealth of experience in providing both corporate and consumer digital banking solutions, Bankable was selected to provide the end-to-end delivery of a “Bank-in-a-box” solution for Blank to complement the administrative side of their product.
With Bankable’s support, Blank were plugged into a live environment within 9 months thanks to the combination of a full technological stack and a comprehensive ecosystem of regulated and technical partners.
The end-to-end banking solution backed by Bankable’s state-of-the-art API connections enables access to corporate accounts, cards, processing, and SEPA payments including the highly sought-after Direct Debit B2B. Blank’s roadmap includes Instant SEPA Payments and Virtual Debit Cards to provide ever more real-time solutions for their customers.
The Outcome
The Blank app went fully live for the self-employed and freelancers in France in February 2021. Freelancers in France are now able to control and pilot all operations across their company within a simple, comprehensive and centralised interface with a fully integrated banking solution.
With Bankable’s support, Blank and its founders were therefore able to focus on their product and ultimate goal of providing administrative, accounting, insurance and financial management support to their client base – whilst being themselves freed from regulatory nightmares!
