Business Operations Analyst (Contract)

Role Description

We’re looking for a detail oriented Business Operations Analyst with a passion for providing excellent service to join our team. Initially reporting to the COO you will primarily be responsible for the administration of existing and new processes, however you will also play a key role in identifying process optimisations and automation and will work closely with the management team to implement these changes. Your responsibilities

Administer, execute, document and improve key operational business processes.

These include but are not limited to: 

Day to day operations

  1. Customer support
    1. Chargeback processing
    2. Balance queries and dispute investigations
    3. Blocked/lost/missing cards
    4. Transaction queries and investigations
    5. Redemptions
  2. Reconciliations
  3. Client account balance monitoring and resolution
  4. Stock management
  5. Client onboarding and offboarding
  6. Reporting
    1. Operational KPI’s
    2. Ad hoc management reporting
  7. Customer and product data maintenance
  8. Creation of client invoices
  9. Validation of supplier invoices
  10. Provide operational support to other functions in particular the Finance, Business Development, Compliance and Implementation teams

Business process management

  1. Documenting business processes and monitoring execution
  2. Administer policies and procedures and monitoring compliance to these
  3. Process automation and optimisation
  4. Business change support

About you

  • 2 years experience in financial operations
  • Quick learner that thrives in a fast-pace environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, able to work with large datasets
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Experience in payments or financial services would be a plus (although not required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and across functions
  • Calm under pressure with great intellectual agility and attention to detail
  • Native level fluency in English (oral & written), French and other languages a plus
